Ehsan Barkhordar
NLP & Computational Social Science researcher · M.Sc., Koç University
I'm an NLP researcher working on bias detection, multilingual NLP, and the social-science side of language models. These days I'm spending most of my time on agentic AI — how LLM-based agents reason, collaborate, and break under realistic conditions.
Background
I received my M.Sc. in Computer Science from Koç University with a 3.8 / 4.0 GPA, advised by Asst. Prof. Gözde Gül Şahin (primary) and Prof. Erdem Yörük (co-advisor). Before Koç, I worked as an ML and senior software engineer building production systems and predictive models, and I also hold an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Computer Science from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic).
I’ve authored multiple first-author papers at venues including ACM Web Science, LREC-COLING (SIGUL), and CASE workshops, and serve as a reviewer for ARR, EMNLP, ICLR, and related venues — 100+ papers reviewed to date.
